First and foremost I would like to wish all the residents, local municipality workers and those who visit the borough of Hellertown an very happy, healthy and prosperous 2008!
I took a quick look of our market place and would like to share my findings with you. I find it comforting that our borough, like most of the Lehigh Valley is holding up pretty well in this market where many areas nationwide are seeing a drastic downturn.
The table below shows a comparison between 2006 and 2007 (Full Year and Sept-Dec). To keep things simple and compare relatively "like" properties, I used the following criteria:
- Hellertown Borough
- Single Family Detached Homes
- Price Range from $120,000 to $349,000 (eliminated 1 low & 1 high in 2006)
- Sold properties only (as reported in the Lehigh Valley Multiple Listing Service)
