I admit that I'm not one to write notes very often, although they do make an impact. Yvonne did take that time to write that note and that says a lot about her. I enjoyed reading what she had to say too Margaret.

The hand written note is one of the most underutilized things and it is amazing how something so simple can be so wonderful.  We have become so busy in this electronic age that we don't write notes anymore, we type off a quick email but sometimes a handwritten note is so touching.  My quilt guild is selling beautiful note cards with our pictures of our last 2 years raffle quilts on the front.  This week I picked up 4 packets to keep handy for just this type of situation.

Margaret ~ we do get busy and some of the old fashioned niceties of yesteryear. With that in mind it makes this one even more special!

Thank you notes seem to be a thing of the past with the advent of email. Lucky for me to have learned the "old school ways" from my mom!

 

Thank you notes are almost a lost art. I must admit that I've let sending them slip. Because almost no one does them any more they are a very effective way to communicate and of course say "Thank You."

Good Morning, Margaret. Hand Written Notes are very powerful in my opinion. It let's the person, who receives one know that someone was willing to take the to time to express a few kind words to the recipient. You will always to Tops in My book. I will always remember our conversation last year, and your Award Winning Book that you autographed and sent me a copy.
