Today’s buyers love outdoor space and while not everyone has an HGTV backyard, many do have decks or porches that aren’t living up to their potential. I recently staged a Morris County home with a nice size deck that wasn’t adding to the overall appeal of the home. My clients love flowers so they were all for turning this untapped space into an oasis which they’d enjoy until they listed their home in the fall.   

I always shop on a budget and found the cushions at HomeGoods for 60% off what you’d pay in retail stores. I purchased an indoor/outdoor rug online for $160. and my clients, avid gardeners already owned an assortment of plant containers. I went to my local nursery and bought inexpensive annuals to liven up the space and add warmth.

This is what the space looked like when I did the consultation….

Now the area is staged to sell and adds more usable space in this wonderful home…

Kristine- you took a ho-hum porch and put a ton of WOW back in!  The cushions and rug made huge difference and then the plants were the icing on the cake!  Another great Staging Before and After.
