Physician's Loan and Dentists, Accountants, etc. too. 
After mentioning the "Physician's Loan" in a post, I got several comments asking "Lenn, What Is The Physician's Loan?"
I have also received mail from a few loan officers who have that loan in their PORTFOLIO.
One gentleman is a new member and contacted me to describe the loan offered by his company.

Of course physicians need loans! They have lots of expensive stuff to buy. Plus all those college fees.

Jay. It is indeed. I was glad to spread the word about these loans, something loan officer members should have been doing.
Lenn, even though I don't do them, I have heard of loans done on young professionals who are in careers that have a potential for a much higher income. But this is the first time that I have heard them referred to as a Physician's Loan. But whatever anyone wants to call them, I think they make sense, and should be more available then what they are.
George. By their nature, they have to be portfolio loans and few financial institutions offer them.
