Winter Time on the Range!

What a difference a year makes!  Last Christmas season found those of us living here in Eastern Colorado buried in snow.  We had 10-12 foot drifts in several areas of our ranch.  This year, the snows have been of the 3-6 inch variety with very little wind!  Great news as it keeps our soil moisture content up, but is very manageable.  The real estate market is comparable in this area as well.  Last winter, the continued snow and ever-present grey skies reflected the bleak real estate market outlook.  This year, things are looking much brighter as we enter 2008.  It is a great time to locate and purchase rural property in Colorado!

Wally - I couldn't agree more. Last year was a bleak time due to the 4+ feet of snow on the ground for over 3 months in most of the state. I know 2008 will be a banner year for you - keep on keepin' on!

Wally - As bad as it was for us here last year, I know it was that much worse for your area (weather wise, thus business wise).  Here's to a fantastic 2008 for all of us!

Hey we even had snow over here on Maui!  But the market is going strong.
