BlackHorse Ranch, Cypress, TX - a Golf Course Community
Beautiful entrance to BlackHorse Ranch South. This is typical of what you and visitors will see when entering the community. The entrance is maintained by landscapers year round.

BlackHorse Ranch is a beautiful golf course community in Cypress, TX with many amenities to offer and is in the popular Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District (also known as Cyfair ISD). BlackHorse Ranch and BlackHorse Ranch South are located off of Fry Rd., just south of Hwy. 290.
Students currently attend Warner Elementary, Smith Middle School and Cy-Ranch High School. These schools seem to be among parent and student favorites within the district.
Blackhorse offers many community amenities including swimming pools, splash pad, lakes, trails throughout the community, picnic area, playground and more. If you want to live in a beautiful neighborhood with resort-style amenities available to homeowners, Blackhorse Ranch and BlackHorse Ranch South are definitely areas to consider!
This is the pool in BlackHorse Ranch South. It has a water ledge for sunbathers and for the little ones to enjoy. And then there are the tubes to slide through for those with more energy to burn.
Also, at the pool area, you'll see the splash pad, playground which includes a row of swings and a covered picnic area. Trails throught the community lead to this wonderful community center.
Great shopping is nearby. Blackhorse Ranch is only a few minutes from Memorial City Shopping Mall to the south and The Premium Outlet Mall to the northwest. And, of course, there are grocery stores and many smaller shopping centers scattered throughout the area as well.
There is definitely no shortage of restaurants in the Cypress area! Some of my favorites near BlackHorse Ranch are Cypress Station (family style menu), Redfish Seafood Grill, Alicia's Mexican Grill, Friday's, Luby's, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Spring Creek Bar-B-Que, Carl's Bar-B-Que and On the Border Mexican Grill. And there's plenty of others, including most all of the big franchises, but these are some of the locals that I especially enjoy eating at.
