This weekend was a chance for a little R&R in the Virginia Countryside. Headed to Charlottsville and enjoyed wandering the grounds at Monticello with my 5 year old granddaugther. She had studied Thomas Jefferson in her Colorado kindergarden this year and was excited to get the chance to visit his house.
She's headed home with pictures to share with her class and said the biggest thrill was walking underneath the house through the tunnels. Considering she had a major fall just a few days before and her face was bruised and swollen she was a trooper. Best Mother's Day ever!
