night when Bobby Flay told his Food Network team not to use the word 'delicious' to describe any mouthwatering dish they prepared.
Not to far afar from the commonplace words overused by most Realtors in their listing presentations... you know like well maintained, move in ready, not a thing to do...REALLY. Why don't we just show it then with great pictures that capture the scene at hand.
Unfortunately, most times there are too few pictures to take us through that experience which should be visual and visceral and truly showcase the home!
I am not saying never use those 'commonplace words' Realtors all use but shake and bake it up a bit and put a bit more seasoning into the thought process of your showcase listing. It certainly has given me a few ideas...how about you?
Where are words that describe it as it is...a chicken coop of a home without the feathers, luxurious ocean front estate, tree house on top of Mount Hood...be real and capture the property image through words and pictures and perhaps the sellers can chuckle, buyers will gain that much needed attention to bring them in to your showing and you might get that home sold faster.
