Marketing Luxury Real Estate: The Colors Splash of Summer

cuisinart colors in Santa Barbara Sur La Table

Part of the research we do besides reading a plethora of publications on Luxury, real estate, marketing, branding on a daily basis is visit stores to see the latest and greated especially in design.  When we walked in to Sur La Table on State Street (our downtown main street), our eyes were drawn to this display of Cusinart blenders, immerision sticks, food processors and other machines.  The colors are cheery, and I felt that every kitchen ought to have one of those colors for a magnificent color splash on their kitchen counters.

What do you think...I see a trend here as we all keep these type of tools for many years.  It is fun and entertaining to make a margarita in a red blender.  I like the purple blender!

Happy Tuesday, Cheers Ron and Alexandra

Pink, pink! I love the pink blender...but I'd never give up my plain ol' VitaMix blender, so that's that. That display you pictured definitely is eye-catching, and what perfect colors for summer! :)

Leilani's comment cracks me up!   Isn't that the ultimate in luxury...a summer blender?  Gives new meaning to the Byrd's song....Of Every Season, Turn Turn Turn.  Brian

I would agree that it would be a splash of color.  I think I would get tired of the splash after a short time.

I love the splash of color!  I'm a red girl, and wouldn't tire of it!  It's small enough that you could easily switch it out when you need a new splash of color!

I love that colors are in with small appliances. Unfortunately, I don't need any new ones :( but you never know when one will quit working :)

Ron/Alexandra, Those luxury colors do make a summer splash. Purple blender would be a great choice!

Good morning Ron and Alexandra -

A splash of luxury color never hurt anyone!  The problem at our home is Debbie goes batty when there are appliances left on the counter.  Everything has to be washed and put away under the cabinets.  One of her pet peeves.  Maybe if I brought home a colorful juicer... LOL.

Have a great day my friends -

Hi Ron & Alexandra - Those are very eye-catching and attractive, but I imagine we used to think the same thing about avocado green, too. I could definitely use a juicer, though, and I'll take the red one please :)

You are sooooo right about the cannonball splash these blenders make. Now only if they would make one with a bit more Art Deco look, I would be tempted. cheers cvc

I think it's cool.  But, for kitchen staples, which you are likely to keep for twenty years or more, I stick to the classic, stainless steel, or white.  That way, when you change your kitchen decor, you don't have to go out and buy all new counter-top appliances.

Oh, so pretty.  I tend to be a black, white and stainless person, too.  But, once in a while, a pop of color does the soul good!

I think these wonderful, fun, cheery colors are a innovative way to encourage people to purchase another kitchen appliance/staple that is normally kept for years.

I understand.  Glad you like pink.

I love your take on this and why not, it is rocks your boat all the more power to that.  However if you have that pool house with a bar, I think a colorful blender would be the ticket==great conversations piece also.  Happiness is generated from bright colors.

Well, I understand how someone would get tired of that.  From my perspective, it would be fun to see something bright in a neutral or one color is like spice it livens it humble opinion.

I love red also, and I have a red immersion blender for soups.  It is great.

I keep thinking I am going to need a new Cuisinart food processor...I have replaced the bowl, and it keeps us on working, and I love that...however, if one breaks...hmm, I would have a decision to make.

Larry and Sheila,

Glad you are a purple people leader too,,,go purple lovers. A

I understand, we like clean counters, however it would be a hoot to see something like that on a daily basis.

I was not a fan of avocado green or harvest a kid when my mom redid the kitchen, I said no on the avocado idea and they listened...LOL I like the red also.

I have seen the art deco look replicated in various appliances.  Art Deco is one of my favorite styles.  Thanks for commenting.

You make an excellent point about that and thanks for piping in on this one.

Yes indeed a splash of color is a wonderful thing to behold and livens everything up.  A

Dan and Linda,

You are right and fashion is full of colorful items.

I agree, great point and thank you
