Inspired by Alan May (who wouldn't be), I had to write on those other horrors who make appointments.. My office has "opp time" a pseudonym for opportunity time... (well that is a whole different subject)... but when we are at the front desk, we are there to back up for our receptionist to pick up those calls she cannot access, and make those appointments. Now, I realize that, we, as independent contractors, are not obligated to do this, but our office does. I have called other offices, and the agents 'on duty' will have you wait until the receptionists are free, will ask you to call back in 10 minutes as the receptionist is busy..,have you repeat the date, the time, the address 3 times ( as they can't be bothered to write it down as you speak so they appear efficient - G-d forbid) and my last experience was having the agent demand of me "what is the MLS number?". We are all used to giving the address but she wanted it done differently.. She imparted how 'it was easier for her that way.."" Oh my! I had to call back an hour later to cancel the appointment. I was afraid to call..
My office (which currently has over 52% of the Larchmont market over those other top companies) is GREAT. My company has over 92% of the Mamaroneck market over other top companies...... When I call those other areas, and offices, I wonder if those offices would be doing much better if they had people on Opp time who were simply willing to help...
My office is GREAT!
Westchester is GREAT!
