Organizations
The “Drive Out ALS Golf Tournament” was held at the Mission Viejo Private Country Club golf course yesterday to raise funds for The ALS Association, Orange County Chapter. These funds will be used to fund research to find a cure for ALS and for those people who have ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration in ALS eventually leads to their death. Patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
The Event was a big success. Prudential CA Realty as well as Marlene Dietrich’s Home Team were big supporters of this event in the name of their former President and CEO Jon Cook. Team member Tony Massod, participated in the Golf Tournament in the name of Marlene Dietrich and Prudential CA Realty.
