A news article caught my attention this morning. It's entitled: Housing glut could help war wounded.
It describes the plight of wounded American soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan -- how many servicemembers are facing homelessness and serious financial hardships.
It led me to an organization that is doing something to help them: Operation Homefront. I visited the website to learn more about it. I learned that it is seeking service providers who are willing to donate or discount their services.
You can download an application to be a service provider by clicking on the tab 'You Can Help', then clicking: 'Become a Service Provider'. You can also submit an application online.
I offered to provide pro bono notary services. And as you can see, there are other ways to support our troops and their families.
I imagine that there are many types of real estate services they can use.
