So you got a lead… now what?

Lately we have been talking about defining and enhancing your web presence through social media and SEO. I think we can all agree that the purpose of that presence is to generate leads. But what do we do with our leads? What percentage are converted to clients, and how many are we dropping the ball on? How long does it take you to respond to a lead, and have you ever lost a lead to another agent who was able to respond faster than you?

Today, leads are able to access, send, and receive information faster than ever before. The good news is, agents can respond just as fast! The bad news is, if you don’t have the right lead management in place, you may not be that agent…

A great lead management system should notify you of a new lead immediately, allow you to monitor that lead’s activity through your website, and enable you to keep in contact with that lead without even having to think about it. Being able to search and save listings on your website is a great feature to offer your leads, but if they are taking your listings elsewhere the purpose is defeated.

This is an area that I think many agents struggle with. Any tool that helps simply lead capture, response and managment will help, as long as it is withn the agnet;s budget and we don;t have to spend too much time on the learning curve. Time is of the essence, as they say. Best of luck with  your product, Torgie. I'll check it out.
