According to the first-ever United States Peace Index, created by the Institute for Economics and Peace Institute,. Rhode Island ranks as the 8th most peaceful state in the country. Neighboring Massachusetts ranks a notch higher, at number 7.
I am a native born Rhode Islander and ♥ this state and its capital PROVIDENCE. I grew up in East Providence and travelled by bus frequently to the City of Providence to shop, eat and go to the movies and theater.
Today I live north of Providence in Lincoln and still always love going to Providence I walk the Eastside Benefit Street, Wickenden, Hope and Wayland Square. I go to Gallery night at the School of Design museum, eat at special cuisine restaurants and love the Providence Place Mall and waterfire.
