Oldham County is one of the most beautiful places in Kentucky, and its Cherrywood Place subdivision is no exception. Did you know that there are two entrances to Cherrywood Place? One is beside Kroger, and the other is beside Tractor Supply. Both entrances are connected now so that you can go all the way through one to get to the other.
The best thing about living in Cherrywood Place is the close proximity to shopping. There are several banks within walking distance! Restaurants abound in this area, and there are even at least three restaurants that serve alcohol - Applebees, Beef O'Brady's and El Alcapulco.
Cherry House is a popular place to buy upscale furniture and is located in a beautiful area.
There are lots of service providers in the area as well, that are within walking distance. Dentists, eye doctors, cell phone providers, hair salons, and a UPS store to mail out packages are nice to have in close proximity to home.
Exercise enthusiasts will appreciate the walking spaces around the subdivision, and you'll meet lots of neighbors up the street doing the same. Cherrywood is located within the city of LaGrange, which has several places to go to get exercise...there is Wilborn Park where you can play Frisbee (or feed the ducks)! Close to the new library there are walking trails, and a fairly new 3-mile walk/run/bike trail between LaGrange and Buckner.
If exercise is not your thing, there is always pizza! Papa John's and Papa Murphy's are a short walk. ;) Lots of fast food places surround the subdivision.
For those who like the big box stores, Cherrywood offers close range to Walmart, Kroger, and the Dollar General Store.
Children who live in Cherrywood Place attend the award-winning Oldham County schools. These schools have good ratings on Trulia's website by parents whose children attend.
