Homes in Leschi can be a great investment because of their views of Lake Washington, Mt. Rainier and the Cascade mountains.  There is only so much view property available. Some views also allow you to gaze at the opposite shores to the skyline of Bellevue.

You’ll see many types of homes here mid-century ramblers (which offer master bedrooms on the main floor) refurbished bungalows and craftsman, contemporary styles, bricks, Tudors and condominiums.  These homes in Leschi are priced between $600,000 - $800,000 and have 3+ bedrooms and 2 baths.

Why do homeowners love Leschi?  The community is nestled along the shores of Lake Washington and on a hillside, thus the views.  There are four parks in Leschi which include Leschi, Frink,  Flo Ware and Powell Barnett parks.  Frink Park is one of the most notable gifted to the City in 1906.  Frink Park served as a natural woodland park where city residents could enjoy mountain and sound views.  Leschi Park is on the shores of Lake Washington.  Today the beautiful natural woodlands of Frink Park are maintained by volunteer stewards who are dedicated to keeping the natural wooded area in its original state.

There are superb restaurants in Leschi with the area renowned Daniel’s Broiler steakhouse (once home to a Ferrari dealership) and other eateries including the Blu Water and of course in Seattle you’ll find a Starbucks.  Most of the residents visit the local mart which has been in the community since World War II.

Mention the name to Leschi to a local and they’ll know what you are talking about…that great lakeside community in Seattle.
