Introducing New Members in The Rain
Many of you may remember that I started a New Group last year called, “Introducing Newbies in Active Rain”, and we even had a Contest last November, 2011 to encourage newbies to get started blogging, and for seasoned bloggers to help promote new members to their audiences too. We shared a lot of great tips and advice for all our new members, and had some great participation from many seasoned members too.

Last month, Dick Greenberg took it a step further and introduced a New Contest for Mentoring called, “Sensei/Grasshopper Group”. He had over 50 entries for this challenge and I was thrilled to see that his Group will remain open for anyone, who needs future mentoring. What a great learning resource for all our AR members.

Today, I would like to introduce three New members, who are taking Active Rain to heart with their blogging efforts. They are Richard and Beth Witt, Heather Milbourn, and Debbie Reynolds.

Richard and Beth Witt  are a team from Re/Max Wittney Estates. Richard has been the broker/owner since 1984, when he first open that office in Massapegua, NY, Selling Long Island Homes. Richard started in Active Rain in December 2011, but got serious with his blogging the very next month in January 2012 by putting out 23 posts, and he has been on a roll ever since. He presently has nearly 69,000 points, and that’s great for only six months of blogging. Here is one of his recent posts, “Self Esteem is different than conceit”. Debbie Reynolds has been licensed since 1980, and is presently with Prudential Professionals Realty. She has earned several designations, and is known in the Clarksville, TN area as “The Real Debbie Reynolds”. I discovered Debbie from her recent featured Post, “Where Will I Be at the End of the Year in Active Rain?” She joined Active Rain in October 2011, but didn’t get serious with her blogging until April 2012, when she wrote 23 posts. I am sure Debbie will be able to reach her goal of being at that No. 2 spot in Clarksville, TN by the end of the year. Let’s Give Debbie a Big Warm Active Rain Welcome!

Heather Milbourn is living her Dream as a real estate professional in South Beaches Real Estate. As a prior Health and Fitness professional, she is right at home with her clients, selling real estate in the Gulf Beaches. She has been in Active Rain since March 2012, and has already gained nearly 15,000 points. She caught my attention with her recent post, “Bikini Season in Seminole Florida”. Although the title caught my eye, it was her tips on health and diet that zeroed in on my thoughts, since I am presently on a diet to take off some pounds.  Let’s give Heather a Big Warm Active Rain Welcome!
