Cedar City Happenings...Solar Eclipse

As many of the astronomers know, this Sunday there is going to be a solar eclipse.  The place to be to see this natural wonder is none other than Kanarraville, Utah.  It has been said that Kanarraville is the best place to view the eclipse.  The small town of Kanarraville is excited about being the epicenter of such an event.  There are estimates of up to 40,000 people expected to show up in Kanarraville to see the eclipse.

William, Let us hope!  It cleared off this evening after being cloudy most of the day.

Juli, You should come up and get out of the heat, or at least reduce the heat!

Myrl, It should really be a nice shot in the arm for the economy!

Jim, I am not sure what kind of view you will have of it.  I hope that you have a good opportunity to see it!

Yolanda, I have seen a couple of them when I was younger, they are pretty cool.

Steve, I probably will just check it out from my house, we're only about 20 miles north of the prime viewing location.  I have never tried to photograph an eclipse before, so it should be a learning experience.
