Eveyone,
I have been off the radar for a few days here. I would appreciate all of you keeping my oldest son Joe Jr. in your prayers.
He has been seriously ill for several days without my really knowing how bad it was because he lives about 30 miles away from us. He has been off work all week, but I thought he just had a flu or something. I was talking to a client day before yesterday or the day before and my phone kept ringing and caller ID showed my oldest son's phone number. When I clicked over, I just would hear russling in the line, and figured he had pocket dialed me (he pocket dials me all the time). This happened several times, and I kept clicking over and saying "Joe, you pocket dialed me".. Well, my cell phone then rang with his number in the caller id on that also, and I knew he was trying to reach me. I answered and heard the same russling noise.. I called his wife Monica and asked her what was going on and she didnt know where he was, but that he had been feeling very sick all week and had a bad headache. Monica called later that they had to take Joe Jr. to the E.R. and that he was dilirious. What happened was that he was calling me but couldnt get any words out of his mouth.
Joe Jr. had spent 10 days in the hospital a few years back because of a serious head injury where he had bleeding in his brain, so they started checking him for that, but he also had a very high temp (over 102).. They checked him for meningitis and that was not the case. What they are currently checking him for is west nile virus because of the symptoms, but the test takes 2 weeks to come back. They are treating him with strong antibiotics and trying to keep him hydrated.
I have a ton of people to respond to still from my last post http://activerain.com/blogsview/3243797/stop-playing-games-and-get-serious-great-seo- but will most likely not be in A/R for a few more days.
Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause any of you. I can be reached by my cell at 402-670-3282 if needed..
Have a wonderful weekend, and please keep my son in your prayers.. I know he will be fine, but you know how it is to see your kids sick or hurting.
Thank you all!
Joe
