Just what color is a cloud?

Just what color is a cloud?Explosions edged in blue and white,
Or gilded fronds of pink twilight,
A storm looms as a blackened shroud,
Just what color is a cloud?
                    (R Weisser 2012)

Sometimes we have to look beyond the obvious. What at first glance may be basic and ordinary, could in fact be something that is very dynamic and complex.

The canvas of life is repainted every day. Nothing today is exactly like it was yesterday. We can choose to either appreciate the difference or ignore it.

As for me, I enjoy the simple things in life. And while I realize that there is a whole world out there, there is plenty for me to enjoy from my own front porch.

I have been blessed with a new day!

And I am going to savor every moment of it!

Richard, my favorite is the red clouds....although the puffy, white cumulus clouds are always nice to see - they have a light heart.

Richard, Clouds have a calming effect when you just relax and watch them.  I really enjoy looking at them on my runs and making pictures out of their shapes.  They are simple but beautiful.

And your a poet too Richard? It was beautiful too. You are a man of many talents! You can take awesome pictures, write poems, and you have a pretty good sense of humor too.

How right you are -- "...there is plenty for me to enjoy from my own front porch." Enough said. :)
