The Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival- Celebrate the Arts!

It’s the 15th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival this weekend, May 26 and 27, 2012. Just because the season is about over and our snow-birds have headed north doesn’t mean the fun stops!

Held at theDelray Beach Tennis Center on Atlantic you can enjoy our great Delray Beach weather and shop the many exhibitors for jewelry, wood crafts, ceramics, glass, fabrics and textiles, ladies clothing, and much more. And don’t forget vendors from theGreen Market as well as orchids and various gourmet foods.

While you’re in Downtown Delray don’t forget to take some time and take a stroll along Atlantic Avenue and visit some of the unique shops and restaurants.

Morgan- We’re so lucky to have arts and crafts festivals here just about every weekend! It’s a fun way to spend time outside.

Ginny- I agree with you...it’s fun to find unique gifts there. I’ll often do some birthday and Christmas shopping at these.

Harry-I see many local retailers who exhibit as well.

Janis- well fly on down because we have a lot of them here.

Sharon- Delray has something just about every weekend, and then there’s Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and anywhere else along the coast.

Eileen- me too. And I’m happy that many of the vendors return season after season.

Roy- love that flower!!! And, yes always have my camera.

Richie- come on down... I’m driving and yes.. me too! I love the food.. it’s so decadent.

Michael- yes, we slow down some but the good thing is we can finally get in some of the restaurants.

Melissa- Our Green Market is fun but yes, I’d sometimes like to see some variety.

Gita- even if I don’t buy anything (which is rare), I love being outdoors and people watching.

John- (QMan)-thanks and loved your shot of the eclipse! Glad you were able to get it.

Jeff- it really is! But you have lots of them in your area! If you’re near Winter Park I used to go to the Green Market every Saturday.

Scott-that’s an excellent time to be in this area. Lots of art festivals!

Jerry- well send her over! Won’t compare to the River Walk, though.

Richard and Beth- you can definitely tell when they’re gone. Less traffic and no waits at restaurants.
