The 80/20 Rule in Real Estate
You're heard it before - 20% of the people do 80% of the work in any volunteer organization. You use 20% of your stuff 80% of the time.
But what about when you're buying a house?
If you can find 80% of what you want in a house, buy it.
The only way you can get the elusive 100% is if you build it (and have a larger budget).
Frank learned this wise tip while selling yachts in Marina del Ray.
In our real estate career, this knowledge has helped many Buyers focus on the 80% and not be de-railed by the 20%.
This post was inspired by Belinda Spillman's post Does a Perfect 10 Even Exist?
The answer is a resounding NO - unless you build and have an unlimited budget.
But, if you focus on the all important 80%, chances are you and your Buyer will be able to find a great house that fits their needs and many of their wants.
