With the Iowa caucaus behind us and NH and others on the calendar for the next few weeks (months, or what seems like years) it is time to get serious about who will be our next President...and to start researching who you will vote for! Some say our vote does not count...and the way the system is set up that may or may not be the case. BUT we as a whole MUST let our leaders know how we feel by voting. Voting is a privilege, and it's our right!
This Caucasus/Primary stuff is still way over my head and it won't be for long as in 2 weeks from today I am going to Nevada's Caucus just to familiarize myself with the concept of it. Then I'll report back and if anyone is as silly/dumb as me about this I will report in with them and give them the scoop on the differences.
Nevada's caucus is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 10:30 am for Republicans and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the democrats. I want to go to both but I guess I can't. It's on a Saturday morning (19th of February) at the University Of Las Vegas Thomas and Mack Center.
It all sounds like an interesting topic...and I'm one who wants to learn! Maybe it's ran a way that I've just been used to and now is named something different. Whatever happens I'll come away a little smarter...and I like that!
