San Antonio Board of Realtors is happy to announce that this year we are sponsoring the annual Texas Realtor Convention. In good ol' San Antonio style it's a Fiesta! As an Ambassador and member of the First Time Texas Realtor Conference team, I'll be blogging to promote the event and share insightful, helpful information for Conference newbies and oldies alike.
One thing I'm really excited about is the approach to showcase our beautiful city and provide additional support to members who have never been to a Texas Realtor Conference. Last year I attended my first Texas Realtor Conference and found it confusing. While they had information booths, they seemed to have lines and we all know that we only have short intervals between sessions. Our fearless leader and Chairman, Marty Hutchinson, in his infinite wisdom, decided to set up an Ambassador program.
We will have stations around the conference, but even better, have Ambassadors walking around with "Ask Me" buttons and First Timer Ambassadors - including me, will reach out by walking around to seek out First Timers!
We'll also be launching a Facebook Fan Page to interact with our Texas Realtor friends. Our First Time Ambassador team will specifically posting insightful and pertinent information targeted to newbies making the event more enriching.
My next blog will be to announce the Fan Page and to provide details about the event. For now, this is just a quick primer about what to expect.
