The Marin Real Estate House Inventory on New Years day, 2008.   Some Marin towns such as Corte Madera (as always), Fairfax, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, Ross, Tiburon are holding strong, either balanced or sellers market, others, such as Novato Home Sales lagging behind and has become buyers market.

We will watch the market closely in 2008 and keep you informed!

Looks like good news....especially in Marin. Marin has always been a great area. I would love to attend a Dreamworks party at the Civic Center. Does Dreamworks still hold functions there. Seems they would have them a few times a year but, then again, that was a few years ago.

Is it an error in the figures? 161.21% of area homes are pending. If so, sounds like a sellers market for sure.

Sorry, not part of Dreamworks Partying Group, so I can't tell you whether they are still there.  I bet it must be fun.

Thanks for pointing out the 161.21%.  It's really two columns but I did not look at it closely, it could be read as one number.  I fixed that. Thanks!

Marin as a whole is a buyers market - very local.  The numbers are skewed by Novato as you can see.  When you go closer to San Francisco (Southern Marin), it becomss more of Sellers' market.
