Hello there friends!
This holiday weekend means much more to a lot of folks then most. It is not only a time to celebrate the freedom(s) that we have in this great country of ours, but also a time to take a step back and remember how we got here. The men and women who sacrificed themselves for our country deserve the highest honor, and I hope to see all of us salute the flag and the members of our Armed Services.
Take a moment to shake a soldiers hand. If you are lucky enough to live in the Washington, D.C. area as we are, think about heading down to some of the monuments and memorials this weekend, it is the least we can do to pay our respects.
This blog post wasn't meant to be more than a few words, so I hope it hit home. Take some time this weekend to remember how we got here, and thank anyone you see who had any part in that.
