I'm happy to report I have a new listing!
My new listing (1769 Garfield Bay Road) is located 13 miles from my front door (a 3-mile drive to Sandpoint, another 3 miles across Lake Pend Oreille and the Sandpoint Long Bridge to the town of Sagle and, finally, 7 miles east on Sagle Road to the community of Garfield Bay). I DO NOT take this journey for granted. It would be hard to imagine a more beautiful 13 mile trip and I will make this sojourn as often as possible...if for no other reason than to just enjoy life in North Idaho.
Yesterday I was given the task to deliver my new flyers to the flyer box on my listing sign. (This begs the question, "Are flyers really effective?" Answer: "Who cares? I get to make the trip, once again to "the Bay"! ...did I mention I do this as often as possible on a BMW F650 GS motorcycle?). ...say no more.
Let's talk about 1769 Garfield Bay Road. You can read the general description in the flyer to the right. If you are a Sandpoint resident, you already know about the beauty and mystique of Garfield Bay. If you are not familiar with this area, a short description is definitely in order.
The Bay is a very protected harbor on the "BIG" part of Lake Pend Oreille and the gateway to trophy-sized trout fishing opportunities. Depths in this area of the lake reach well over 1,000 feet!
In addition to the fishing, Garfield Bay is home to endless recreation opportunities...hiking, biking, swimming, water-skiing, wildlife viewing galore, golf and, of course world class skiing & boarding at nearby Schweitzer Mountain Resort less than 30 miles away!
1769 Garfield Bay Rd. (MLS #20121356) boasts 3 bedrooms (a master suite with private deck & two guest BR's) and 3 baths, a spacious great room (including deck) with endless lake views ovelooking Garfield Marina and a gourmet kitchen complete with energy-star efficient appliances. Some of the numerous upgrades include: bamboo flooring, organic carpeting, no VOC paint/primer, granite counter-tops, custom vanities, jetted tub, glass railings on both decks to maximize lake & mountain views and custom blinds throughout.
All of this, plus...this home is in Sandpoint, Idaho...the Most Beautiful Town in the USA!
