It is a time to remember those that have sacrificed so much for the freedoms we take for granted. Without their sacrifices the veterans and their families have made what would America be today? Most Americans are removed from the impact that the families experience daily when their loved ones are separated for long periods of time in war time or deployed in foreign countries.

GI Bill was enacted on June 22, 1944. Originally set to expire in 1956 it has been successfully re-instated without any break in coverage.
