Ok...where did May go? Seriously, it's now Memorial Day weekend and I'm wondering what happened to the rest of the month. Is anyone else feeling that way?
While sales, as reported by the Steamboat Pilot, were fewer and for a smaller gross sales number this past week , don't get lulled into a lack of urgency if you are considering buying real estate in Steamboat Springs or Routt County. Even though those closed transactions were slower , the Steamboat Springs MLS shows about 24 properties went under contract during this same period, taking our pending sales back up to 146. With interest rates at another record low, and inventory dwindling (as reported by the Steamboat Pilot), now is not the time to wait.
