NH Home Staging FAQ - How Much Does A Staging Consult Cost?

Home Staging services and fees in New Hampshire vary.  Some stagers charge hourly, some by square footage, some have half day and full day rates.  Home Staging may involve rental of all new furniture or it may involve using what the homeowner has on hand.  You can hire a stager to do all the work or to do a "walk through" consult providing a personalized, detailed "to-do" list.

It's not always expensive.  There are levels of service to fit all budgets.

How much does Home Staging cost on the Seacoast in New Hampshire?

Sharon Tara Transformations charges $200 for a Staging Consult, up to two hours,  providing you with suggestions on preparing and presenting your house for sale.

Furniture placement is addressed and new paint colors are selected when needed. Problem areas are identified.  Creative, budget-friendly solutions are provided.   Photos taken (Before and/or After) are made available to the seller, at no additional cost.  Two hours covers most houses, but not all.  Additional time is billed at $75 per hour.

Planning to sell your Seacoast, New Hampshire house in the near future?  There are many beautiful homes for sale in the Seacoast area so you'll need to market wisely to stand out from the competition.  When considering Realtors, visit their current listings online to see their MLS photos. Ask them if they work with a stager.  If they do, visit the stager's website to see photos of their work.

It's frustrating to hear that a client "can't afford staging" only to see their price reduced $20,000 a short time later.

Is the peace of mind that comes from having a personalized game plan for increasing your product's appeal to buyers worth a $200 investment?

I'm sure this question comes up all the time, and it seems that the small price for priceless advice on selling your home is well worth it.

Debbie:  Most sellers, if they have even heard of staging, think it's expensive and for high end homes.  That's not the case at all!

Sally & David:  Well said!  Thank you!

The cost of staging is such a small price when you think of the return on the investment.  Well done my friend.  Oh yeah, tomorrow is Wednesday, I'll need "the  boys" after spending time with The Z Girl and The Tan Man, I love kids!

Sharon, you are very reasonably priced, I agree it's very frustrating to see a home have a price reduction knowing for 1% -3% of the list price (or less) they could have added that wow factor!

Sharon,

This is very reasonable pricing...most sellers do not understand staging.  This is an investment not a frivolous expense, and with a great return to boot. A

Sharon- excellent way to show consumers and Realtors that a Staging Consultation is affordable for everyone.  It's worth the investment!  Love the color on the "after" photo.

Do I wish you would live within 30 minutes from me. However: suggested!

It is good for all to know that a stager doesn't need to brake the bank. All budget welcome is a great way to offer business!

Peg:  Price shouldn't be a seller's excuse for not having a staging consult prior to listing.

Alexandra:  I'm doing what I can to educate buyers...hopefully this helps.

Janice:  Not to mention the reduction in stress once they have a specific game plan!

Kathy:  That green was in the kitchen, adjacent to the dining room, and it made sense to carry through.

Joanna:  At least if we are asked the question, we can answer it.  It's the ones who assume it's expensive that  don't even give staging a chance that lose out.

Maureen:  I'm sure you hear "wish I had done this sooner" too!

Kenneth:  Thank you!  I bet if you look around you can find a stager nearby.

Lydie:  Thank you!  I wish we could work together too....maybe someday!

Sharon,

Getting your talent for that price is the bargain of the decade, in my honest opinion.  You should raise your fees.  It's great you put your fees "out there" so there are no questions.  I think you're a bargain at twice that.  Where can a homeowner invest hundreds and get thousands in dividends?

Lloyd:  In other parts of the country, maybe.  But here in NH, it's not that easy of a sell!  Things are getting better.  I'm getting more calls from sellers who find me on their own than I am from agents these days.  I appreciate your support!!
