Settlers Grove of Ancient Cedars

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Coeur d'Alene

Ancient CedarsAs the weather starts to warm up and we dust off our hiking boots we start thinking of fun places to go with the family.  Well maybe you will want to put Settlers Grove of Ancient Cedars on your list.  Start by driving east on I 90 to the Kingston exit, 29 miles east of Coeur d’Alene. Then drive the scenic Coeur d’Alene River Road for 25 miles northeast to Eagle.  Then you will have 5 miles of a gravel road to the grove.

The Grove is a place of serenity, beauty and peace. The paths run alongside  creeks  where you will see moss, cool green foliage, and fallen trees. This is a great place with many photo opportunities.

After your hike in the Grove you will probably be hungry and thirsty so just a couple of miles away in the gold mining town of Murray is the Sprag Pole Inn, now it is my understanding that they serve a killer cheese burger with onion rings. This is definitely a day trip you will want to think about doing this summer.
