Should I get Pre-Approved for a loan before I start looking for homes?

I have been asked this question many times before and I always answer the same. I recommend that you first contact a mortgage lender before you step into any homes. Once you have talked with a lender you will know exactly what price range you are in. Having that Pre-Approval letter will also allow you to submit an offer with confidence. Sellers also like to work with buyers who have been Pre-Approved, this way the seller knows they have talked with a lender and have their financing in order.

If you need help locating a lender I can help. Please visit my website http://www.daniellowery.com for more details.
