I have been in this business long enough to see all different markets. Today's market is really more normal than abnormal. The differences is that buyers are going to be more fussy, because they have so many homes to choose from. With that said, wouldn't it make sense, as a seller, to make your home the best one in your price range. Do a pre-listing home inspection and fix everything that the home inspector finds inoperative. Paint the interior in a neutral tone. Clean or replace carpets. De-clutter! The list of "to-dos" to get your home ready to market is endless.
