Lorain International Parade is just around the corner!

Step-off time is at 11:30 a.m. at Broadway and W. 17th Street. The parade marches north up Broadway to Erie Avenue It turns onto West Erie Avenue where it goes past the reviewing stand in front of Lorain City Hall, then turns left onto Washington Avenue where the parade will disperse.

This is a great opportunity for your group or organization to share your heritage, talents and pride with our community. The theme of the parade is “International”, and where possible, units are asked to represent a nationality or culture in colorful displays, costumes, music and especially floats.

Groups and organizations who are interested in participating in the parade can find the 2012 parade application under the applications tab on the Lorain International website. Applications must be completed and mailed by Sunday May 27, 2012.
