Floor Tiles are getting larger every year!

man on large tiles

I’ve been setting some floor tiles; it seems that they are getting much bigger the last couple of years. When will it end, even the tile spacers are getting to be pretty heavy.

Very clever Tom.  And, yes, they are getting larger and heavier...even more challenging for me to show all the samples.

Nice touch.  The bigger the tile the easier it cracks right?  Not to mention getting it into a water saw.

Tom... good stuff. You are right, what's next? The one-piece wall to wall room tile... yeah, that's it!

Good morning Tom. They get much bigger and you will need to build bridges across the cracks to keep working.

I just installed 24"x24" tiles, they are so heavy there are only four in the carton.

But I'm sure you already know that Debbie.  :)

Yes Fred, one solid tile installed with a crane at the time of construction. There will be no grout lines.

That's funny Kathy, it reminds me of the floor cleaning commercial.
