For many, buying a home will usually be the largest and most expensive purchase of your life. Of course, this can often mean you will be met with clients with lots of questions and anxiety. As such, it is important to put your client at ease as much as you can. Understanding the closing process is a big part of this. If your client does not have a good grasp of the English language, it might not be a bad idea to bring in the services of an interpretor or perhaps an attorney fluent in your client's language. This will help avoid future problems. An informed client is less likely to lose it at a closing wondering why he has to bring X amount of dollars for city taxes, etc. A happy client is always a good source for referrals.
As a side note, Happy 2008. I wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email me directly at realesate@ptblegal.com
