PEI's New Glasgow Lobster Suppers! Not to Be Missed!

When we told people we were going to PEI they all said we had to try the lobster!

Okay. And the place to go, recommended by several is New Glasgow.

You can't miss it there are signs everywhere, even on the back of the building facing the river!
New Glasgow

The menu which not only includes Lobster, also has all you can eat; chowder, rolls, salad, bucket o' mussels and dessert. (yes unlimited)

Being new to having lobster we had no idea what size to order (and you have to tell them before you go into the dining room), they came in 1, 1 1/2, 2 and 3 lb sizes with options to share the 2 and 3 lb sizes.

We should have figured that one out, but we decided to go for the gold and each ordered a 3 pounder.

OMG, what have we done!?!

After a valiant effort we finished off with dessert and rolled off into the sunset,

New Glasgow

not sure if it was us doing the rolling or the car... :D

One of my favorite treats!  We usually have lobster and steamers a couple times each Summer.  I've never had a three pounder though!

It's ok Peg. Just tell yourself you ate some for me too LOL. I've always kept to the smaller ones because someone told me they were sweeter and more tender.

HOLY COW...!  I hope you both got "to go" boxes - or "to go trunks", in this case!  All you can eat lobster sounds dangerous....!

Now that looks like a meal Peg. I bet people come from miles around to eat there.

You two look so cute in the lobster bibs too.   :)

Sharon, I can guarantee you there will never be another 3 pounder in my life! Ugh I'm still full!

Janice, I wish we'd had a lobster veteran with us, we made a rookie mistake, but lived to tell about it!

Sharon, dangerous doesn't even begin to cover it! I'm glad our rental car was full sized! :D

Tom, they do! We sat next to a family that comes every couple weeks. You should have seen their faces when we told them the size of lobster we'd ordered! There was a lot of laughter... They were very nice and told us about some places to go.

We're in Nova Scotia now and going home on Friday.
