Calling All Pirates & Privateers to the Jersey Shore!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty - Atlantic Shore

It might only be Monday, but it’s never too early to start planning for the weekend at the Jersey Shore!

Pirates (sxc Bill Davenport)June 9th (next Saturday) it’s the 2nd Annual Privateers and Pirates Festival at the Tuckerton Seaport!

At 10am you can meet and greet the Valhalla Pirates (don’t forget your camera), then there’s a workshop called ‘Pirate Tools of the Bloody Trade’.  Stick around for ‘The Pirate’s Tall Tale of the Flyin’ Dutchman’, that ship doomed to sail the oceans forever never making port.

The Tuckerton Seaport is a working maritime village and is located along the Tuckerton Creek (or Crik as we say).  It’s the best place to learn about the Jersey Shore’s unique maritime heritage and the interaction between its culture and nature on the Barnegat Bay. There are recreated and historic buildings, demonstrations and interpretive exhibits.

If you’d like to live at the Jersey Shore in southern Ocean County, contact Little Egg Harbor REALTOR® Laura Giannotta at 609-384-6121 for all the information you’ll need on real estate in Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton.

Laura - Pirating history sound like "just the thing" if you are a coastal person. Come to think of it some pirates have found their way here to our mountains. Have a great time.
