You may not even know this place exists, but in Washington DC, we have (read it carefully now) The Newseum. There are Exhibits, Theatres, Programs, Educational Activities, Fun and Games where you can learn about being a TV Reporter and more. If you live in the surrounding area, or you are planning a visit, you really should check out their website. It could be a wonderful event for you and your family.

The Newseum - An Opportunity For The Family To Enjoy
Has this been open long, David? I believe my son went there a couple of years ago while on a class trip. If it's the same place, he loved it!
How fun! I will have to tell my son about it and see if he would like to go.... Thanks for the info.
I am all about family! My wife and I will be celebrating our 42nd anniversary today. This day certainly has special family meaning.
Lisa, I'm not sure how long it has been open but I've heard many favorable comments. Thanks for stopping by and sharing today.
Lauren, there is so much to see in DC that can/does involve the family. I encourage you to explore the many opportunities here within the Nothern Virginia/Maryland/Washington DC areas.
Joe, I am ALL about Family, too. Congratulations on your 42nd Anniversary. It's been 44 years for us and I wouldn't trade one day for anything.
We have not yet visited the Newseum. Everybody tells us that it is a wonderful experience.
Have a great day with your camera in hand.
