Graduation Day Carroll County, Maryland
Across the county, state and country our children are graduating. They will dress in the traditional cap and gown and walk proudly across the stage to receive their diploma. For most young people, this is the first time they realize how fast time flies. It’s been drudgery for students whose strengths don’t show well in the academic world and an exciting challenge to others. Twelve years of school under your belt, the last four suddenly complete. An accomplishment you should be proud of. Where will life take you? I think a better question is where will you take your life?
Work hard, be kind and amazing things will happen. Remember, the difference between school and life... school teaches you lessons and then gives you a test. Life gives you a test and you learn the lessons.
