New Years

Now that we've begun a brand new year, I'm hearing more and more about how people are refusing to make "New Years Resolutions" anymore.  And you know what... I agree with them!  Typically, a resolution is made and broken within a few days (sometimes hours), inevitably resulting in someone's disappointment that they failed in their endeavor, whatever it may be.

Everyone has a goal they'd like to reach:  Lose weight.  Quit smoking.  Be nicer.  Keep my cool in traffic.  Exercise more.  Be successful.  But placing an immediate timeframe on these goals is unreasonable.  Take each goal and set REALISTIC deadlines - whether its a week, month, or even the year.

Before the end of 2007, my wife & I started a diet... no wait, not a diet... a healthy lifestyle that we hope to continue in 2008.  Granted, the holidays and New Years were hard, but we're right back to it and feeling better every day.

So whatever your goals, objectives, or "resolutions" are... we wish you the best of luck!  Here's to a fantastic year!
