Harbourside is a gated condo community, a tropical paradise, tugged away between the Intracoastal Waterway and Boca Ciega Bay. It is just a few minutes to the beaches, shopping and restaurants, and simply a great place to live.
But many people are confused about one thing:
Is Harbourside part of the City of South Pasadena, FL or part of the City of St. Pete Beach, FL?
The answer is:
BOTH!!
Even residents of the 800 unit complex are sometimes surprised when they realize that all Harbourside residents have the mailing address "Sailboat Key Blvd South", but the city border between South Pasadena and St. Pete Beach runs right through the community! The majority of the island is located in South Pasadena, and then 6 out of the 21 buildings are part of St. Pete Beach.

They are located at the very tip of the island, called “Coral Pointe”. When driving or walking on the island, it doesn’t make a difference at all, Harbourside is beautiful throughout. But the 2 cities have different millage rates for real estate taxes, and a popular benefit St. Pete Beach residents enjoy is the resident parking pass for the beautiful St. Pete Beach beaches!
