Which Mobile Device or Application Allows You to Remain on the Go?

How are you staying in touch while on the go? So far my smart phone is coming in pretty handy but looks like the iPad is the way to go! Any advise out there?

communication everywhereYou're in real estate. Communication is essential.

How did we ever get anything done 15, 20, 25 years ago? Today you are expected to communicate at a moments notice. It's not always via a voice conversation over the phone (and yes, your cell phone will still do actual voice calls) . Our clients expect us to respond via email, text, Facebook, Twitter, Facetime (or whatever the communication du jour happens to be) and they don't care that we are currently not sitting at the desk in our office. In fact, in our industry that is the norm.

And what about delivering documents, information about listings, video tours, and a million other things that your clients might need at the drop of a hat?

DocuSign and ActiveRain realize that the world is going Mobile and real estate is no exception.

This month's ActiveRain and DocuSign challenge focuses on how you use mobile devices in your business.

By now, most of us have, at the very least, a clear grasp on what we need when we are on the go. Some of us are more adept to the rapid evolution of the mobile world than others. But at some level, we've all had to change. How are you adapting to this ever changing world? How are you using mobile devices to make your business more efficient and more effective?

We'd love for you to share with us some of the ways that your mobile device has made your business better.

We'd love for you to share some of the ways you are adapting to the changing expectations of your customers as it relates to the way you communicate, how you deliver information, and how you keep up with the constant demands on your time.

Are you texting with clients more than ever? Are you using Facebook and Twitter from your phone to keep up with people and market your business? Do the leads that hit your website automatically generate a text to your cell phone allowing you to respond in mere minutes instead of hours or days? Maybe you've completely forsaken your computer and replaced it with an iPad.

The Challenge:

Write a post sharing with us how you're taking advantage of the mobile revolution, what devices you are using, and which tools help you be most successful on your mobile device.

Posts can be done either via a written blog post, or via a video blog (vlog). All written submissions will be given 2,000 ActiveRain points and must be at least 300 words (I'm not counting, but don't mail it in). All video blogs will be given 3,000 points and must be at least 2 minutes.

Once you have written your post, leave a link to your post in the comment section of this post to submit your post for consideration. Posts must be submitted by June 29th at 11:59pm Pacific Time in order to qualify for points.

We will select five participants at random from all of the entries. Each winner will receive an additional 1,000 ActiveRain points.

The Real Challenge: Win Cash

Engage DocuSign on Twitter for a chance to win one of 5 $50 gift cards

We'd like you to connect with DocuSign outside of ActiveRain. Many of you have become familiar with their challenges and posts here on ActiveRain, but they're sharing great things on Twitter and Facebook as well.

We'd like you to follow DocuSign on Twitter, then tweet your submission to them using the hashtag #MobileDS. You can use the ActiveRain short URL for your post to make it real easy.

The Tweets that have the most retweets will win the $50 gift card. If there is a tie, we will randomly select from the tied tweeters (is that how you say that?) to determine who wins the $50 gift card.
