Wine Tasting at Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape in Kentlands

Every Friday night, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Kentlands area residents enjoy complimentary wine tasting at Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape, a favorite among local businesses.

Tonight, Erin of Winebow will be pouring two Chilean wines, an Argentinian red and an Italian bubbly.

Dolores and I enjoy the large wine and beer selection available at Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape.  It is a good place to sample wine and beer and to discover new favorites.  There are no corking fees and gratuities are not accepted.  Live music begins at 6:30 p.m.  Reservations are not needed.  Just stop by and plan to have a good time.

Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape is located at 223 Kentlands Boulevard, in Kentlands, in the heart of Gaithersburg, Maryland.  The location is between Giant and Kmart.  The phone number is 301-869-WINE (9463).

We encourage Gaithersburg area residents to support the local businesses that add so much to the quality of life in our community.

I love the name of the winery. A free tasting is always a great thing, and back that up with some live music, and you have a great mix for a wonderful Friday night.

That is a unique name for a winery. BUt they seem to try to come up with the strangest names possible.

Thanks for your comments. Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape is not a winery.  This is a local retail wine and beer store.  They have an excellent marketing program and are much involved with community activities.

Love the name, Pinky & Peppe's Grape Escape - they won't be easily forgotten, and it sounds like they won't disappoint once you visit them. Nice post, Roy.

Roy,

Wine tasting is right up our alley and throwing the ball in my wheel house. I wish we could attend as it sounds wonderful. If you folks go let us all know how it went and which wines were your favorite.

Sounds like a ton of fun!  We have neighbourhood wine shops here too, that do free tastings; especially on Fridays!

Roy, We also have a few local establishments that offer wine tastings in our area. It is such a nice way to spend an evening - supporting local businesses!

Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape is such a cool name. Enjoy your weekend!

Dolores and I enjoyed the Friday night wine tasting at Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape.  It is very nice to have this business establishment in the Kentlands community.
