The Cedar City Summer Lunch Program is up and going and beginning on June 6th Enoch will have the same program for kids. Children up to 18 can get a free sack lunch Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM, at the Main Street Park in Cedar City. The program in Enoch which will begin June 11th, will be available between 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM at the Liberty Park, 27 West Midvalley Road.

Summer can be a hard time for some kids. This is a wonderful way to make sure that kids are getting the nutrition that they need.

Sharon, It really is important that kids get a good foundation.
This program when thought up was a good idea, but here at least we have daycare providers that are being paid to feed kids bringing all their kids to the parks for the free lunch and keeping the money the parents had paid them for food.
