Chicora Alley – new addition to Mauldin dining options

Real Estate Agent with J Michael Manley Team SC#39529

Who doesn’t know Chicora Alley? Everyone in Greenville knows this family oriented restaurant as a good place to meet and indulge in southern home cooking.  Chicora Alley is located in S. Main Street near Falls Park and was established in 2003. Back in the beginning some people think it was a bad idea to put up a restaurant in the location where it is today, but brothers Adam and Bert Dixon thought differently. With the success of their business they’re working on putting another Chicora Alley – where will they branch out?

Mauldin is going through a process of creating a city center that may become the signature downtown shopping-and-dining district the city lacks. A broad plan for the city center has it stretching about a third of a mile from the City hall to Jenkins Street. This plan may take some years to accomplish but that doesn’t stop the Dixon Brothers to choose Mauldin as the location for the second Chicora Alley.

When they announced that Chicora Alley will be opening in Mauldin it has been welcomed by enthusiasm by many people living in the area. Why not? People don’t have to go to downtown Greenville just to have a taste of their ever delicious cheese enchilada or fish tacos. Surely it’s another great addition to Mauldin’s array of dining establishments.

Chicora Alley will be opening in September this year.
