MORTGAGE RATES AT TWO YEAR LOW

By
Real Estate Agent with Panoptic Realty Group
Mortgage rates are down lower than they have been in two years (October 2005). Just one year ago, 30-year mortgages ran an average of 6.14 percent; while rates on 15-year mortgages ran 5.87 percent a year ago.

“The majority of programs out there are now offering rates in the 5’s now” - Ruth Fauss, Genesis Mortgage. Now is a great time to jump in and take advantage of not only the low interest rates, but also the large selection of inventory on the housing market. Its a win-win for any home buyer or investor.

That is great news.  Maybe the low rates will bring the buyers back.  We could all use some more deals..  Things are looking pretty slow these days.

I agree! I always have a little room in my schedule for a few more deals!

Rates will bring the buyers and investors back. It's a great time to be a buyer...
