As promised, here is some of the video I took of the Third Annual 2012 Super Boat Races in Cocoa Beach, Forida. It was definitely "Thunder on the Beach" and the event brings in many tourist and local dollars that help my area to sustain growth in the continuing economic crisis. What could be better medicine than Super Boats, sun, surf, suds, bikinis and the roar of powerful engines?

Great video John. What a huge roar the engines have on those boats too. Something really different for Cocoa Beach. Great colors on the boats too.

Thanks Karen - It's easy to take decent videos when you have great subject matter. Panning the boats at that speed was a little harder though :-)

Hi Gary - The engines are huge with a gas bill to match but then they don't suck up the fuel of a fighter jet :-) It's just a lot of fun to watch and be a part of.
