This 2 week winter timeshare is available and it is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit, in the wonderful ski resort of Smugglers' Notch is on the market.
This unit is in The Balsams, on the first floor. This timeshare unit is available the last 2 weeks of every year, and it includes either Christmas or New Years, and sometimes it includes both! This timeshare is a perfect unit for everyone who loves to ski, including people with school age children. The beauty of this 2 week period is that it covers weeks 51 and weeks 52, which always span the time that children are off from school. Another advantage of this 2 week timeshare, is that if you usually take vacation around December 25 or around December 31 to celebrate the New Year, this 2 week timeshare covers one and sometimes both of these special dates.
The bathroom in the Master Bedroom has a large whirlpool tub and a separate shower. It even has a TV in it! There are also TVs in the Master Bedroom, the other spacious bedroom, and the living room. The unit has a large dining area and kitchen with a full oven, a microwave oven, a toaster and all the comforts of home.
My favorite part of enjoying this unit in the winter has been to relax in front of our gas fireplace after a day of skiiing and enjoy the afterglow of a vigorous day on the mountains.
Smugglers' Notch ski resort is a well known and well loved ski resort. The resort has three enticing mountains to ski with more than 1000 acres to cover.
In addition to downhill skiing, you can enjoy cross country skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ice skating and snowmobiling. "Smuggs", as we who have gone there for many years, lovingly call this resort, provides excellent ski lessons. Both of our children learned to ski and snowboard there. Children are taught from the age of 3 years old and up. The ski school is renound. Mogul Mouse is a favorite character who roams the mountains, waiving hello to all the skiiers. Children delight in shaking his hand and hugging him. He reminds me of the characters in Disney World, who our children also loved to meet and greet.
When my husband, 2 children, and I used our timeshare, we delighted in all these activities and also enjoyed the indoor pool with a separate hot tub area. The children loved the indoor fun zone which has ping pong, miniature golf, basketball, and many inflated rides, including a gigantic slide. They had fun at the video arcade, too.
Alas, our children have grown up and moved on, but I can still picture them laughing and joyously taking in all that Smuggs had to offer them!
When our children were young, we were happy to be able to take advantage of the excellent child care facilities, including the ski camp. It gave us a chance to enjoy some private time together, while knowing that our children were being well taken care of.
The resort has one elegant restaurant and two family style restaurants, a pizzeria/burger joint, a great Ben and Jerry's ice cream parlor, and a well stocked country store with most basic household needs.
There are evening shows and family activities such as bingo and karaoke.

The resort is located in Jeffersonville, Vermont where you can find several restaurants and a country store just 20 minutes from your condo.
The nearby quaint village of Stowe, Vermont has many excellent restaurants and wonderful country shopping opportunities. Though it is closer to Smuggler's Notch in the summer when the direct route through the notch road is open, you can get there in less than an hour in the winter, by using other roads, to enjoy what this wonderful scenic village has to offer.

The condo sleeps at least 8 people, but even more can be easily accomodated. It has a living room (with queen sofa bed), two bedrooms (king bed in the master and queen and two single beds in the second bedroom), two full bathrooms (one has a whirlpool bath), full kitchen, dining room, and a washer/dryer. There are TVs in the living room, both bedrooms and the master bathroom and there is a cozy gas fireplace in the living room.
The condo is on the first floor for easy access and there are storage lockers directly opposite the unit, where you can store your ski equipment. There is ample parking in front of the building. The condo is within walking distance of the indoor swimming pool, kids' fun zone, resort restaurants, and ski lifts. The resort also provides van transportation throughout the community.
The resort has lots of winter activities and a great ski school/camp for kids. Ski equipment rental and a general store for food and other supplies are available, on the resort property.
