Monthly Electronics Recycling
Downers Grove Township Highway Department will host electronic recycling on the third Saturday of every month (excluding holiday weekends) from 8:00am to Noon at the highway garage, 318 East Quincy Street in Westmont. 2012 Street Rehab
The City of Darien is beginning its street repaving project. Our goal is to improve the streets while inconveniencing the residents as little as possible. Residents living on these streets will receive flyers with information and timelines before the paving occurs. The Following streets are scheduled for construction the week of June 11th & 18th. Bicycle Riders Wanted for Independence Day Parade
The Darien Lions Club is looking for area boys & girls to decorate their bicycles and ride In this year's annual Fourth of July Parade. This year's theme is "Honoring our Veterans". The bikes will be judged at 8:00 am before the parade. Trophies will be awarded to the best decorated bikes.
